Reflection
I really enjoyed writing this memo. This was my first time writing in memo format,
but surprisingly I didn’t have much trouble writing it. The professional language is familiar to me. I found that it was
easier for me if I wrote about a real topic that I actually cared about. That’s
why I chose to write about lactation room renovations at John Jay. It was
personal for me so maybe that’s why I enjoyed it and was passionate about it as
well. The biggest problem I had was keeping it at a page’s length/ not being so
wordy. I feel like keeping it short and sweet is always hard for me, especially because I have
so much to say. Overall, I can say the language of memo writing pretty much
flowed and I enjoyed it. I want to write real ones now!
